Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Collage of accessibility symbols

Access to civic life by people with disabilities is a fundamental goal of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). To ensure that this goal is met, Title II of the ADA requires the City of Winfield and other State and local governments make their programs and services accessible to persons with disabilities.

Any person believing that such access is not available in Winfield should contact Gary Mangus,  ADA Coordinator, Winfield City Hall, 200 E. 9th-PO Box 646, (620) 221-5525.  Individuals may access the City's online Grievance Form.  The Grievance Form may be 1) completed online for submission by email, 2) completed online then printed and mailed to the City, or 3) printed, typed or handwritten and then mailed to the City.

For services, programs, activities and facilities not associated with the City of Winfield, please contact the State Attorney General’s Office at (785) 296-2215 or e-mail e-mail, or the U.S. Department of Justice at 1-800-514-0301 or e-mail e-mail.

Hearing- and/or speech-impaired persons using a TDD/TTY may contact us through the Kansas Relay Center at 1-800-766-3777 or 711.
